Ingredients
- 300 g butter, soft, cut into pieces
- 280 g sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla sugar
- 1/2 tsp rum aroma (optional)
- 1 pinch salt
- 5 eggs
- 370 g flour
- 1 tbsp baking powder (15 g)
- 70 g milk
- 30 g cocoa powder
Step 1
Preheat oven to 180C.
Step 2
Place butter into mixing jar,
S1,RVS 200RPM 60C,1M,
Step 3
Add 250g sugar, egg, vanilla sugar, rum aroma and salt,
S1, 3000RPM, 30S
Step 4
Add flour, baking powder and milk
S1, 2500RPM 20S,S2
Use spatula to take out half of the cake mixture into a buttered bundt cake pan ( 22-24 cm).
Step 6
Add cocoa powder, 30 g sugar and 30 g milk to remaining cake mixture.
S1, 3000RPM 20S, S3
Use spatula place cocoa cake mixture as a second layer into bundt cake pan. For typical marble pattern, swirl through both layers with a tablespoon. Bake in a preheated oven at 180C for 20-30 minutes. Allow to cool in cake pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a serving plate and cool completely. Serve marble cake in slices.
